Appalachian folk magick I've heard of a lot. I live in Kentucky, married a Kentuckian but was born and grew up in the South Carolina lowcountry, on the islands. Each state in the US has it's own culture and you could say folklore and magick. A lot of mine and my husbands ancestry is from the British isles, Germany, and for me, France. There's all kinds of stories about masons and voodoo and folk magick and ghosts and cryptids and on and on. :p I love the whole American gothic aesthetic and the idea of the supernatural every day. Where fairies are just out of sight but you might be able to see them if you're fast enough. Like a Charles de Lint or Patricia A. McKillip book. The world around each of us is pretty magickal and so are we. Unique and magickal.
